Meanwhile, Jigan is a personality that you can’t have a dull moment with when you are around him, he is full of life and has a big heart.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?

I had my  primary education at Odunlade primary school, furthered to Morrocco comprehensive Igbobi college, and Olabisi Onabanjo University where I studied business administration.

HOW I STARTED ACTING

I started as a musician, and courtesy of shows, I met the likes of Kunle Afod, Baba tee, Sodiq Adebayo, Funsho Adeolu and Lala Oladapo. Steadily, I built relationships with them and the journey kicked off in the process.

However, Sodiq Adebayo introduced me to the Adebayo family, That was how I met Oga Bello, Femi Adebayo and Tope Adebayo, I was under mentorship yet a family friend.

YOU HAVE NOT RELEASED ANY SINGLE IN A LONG TIME, DOES THAT IMPLY YOU FINALLY DROPPED MUSIC FOR ACTING?

No, I dropped a couple of singles and even videos,  a musical video directed by Rymzo and another by Akin Alabi, I am still doing both, I compose sound tracks for movies. Infact, I composed soundtrack for Bolowoyokun; one of my movies set to be released this Saturday, I am dropping my album early next year by His grace.

THE BRAND “JIGAN” IS GROWING MORE POPULAR IN THE INDUSTRY, WHAT BROUGHT THE NAME?

I got the name from the role I played in a movie  titled “Ijewuru”, produced by Babatunde bernard (Babatee).

WHAT INFLUENCE HAS THE NAME HAD IN YOUR CAREER GROWTH?

Actually, I need to say a big thank you to the producer of the movie, the name changed alot of things in my career, the movie/name gave me the push to limelight.

YOUR DEBUT MOVIE AND OTHER MOVIES YOU HAVE FEATURED IN?

I started acting far back as 2006/2007, I featured in Mr Kola, a production of Okiki Afolayan as directed by Funsho Adeolu. Some other movies I have starred include: Jelili, Igba, Ita, Agidi, Arewa Oru, and I am also the  producer of Ajasa.

BEING IN THE INDUSTRY, WHAT HAS BEEN THE CHALLENGES TO YOU?

I have faced alot of challenges, but I am growing through them.

TELL US ABOUT ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS THAT TOUCHED YOU

Sincerely, if you know me better, nothing gets to me, all the challenges that I have faced are fun and lessons to me.

DOES YOUR PHYSICAL STATE POSE AS A CHALLENGE TO  YOUR WORK?

Yes it does, somehow restricting me from playing some certain roles, but I am doing my home work to make sure as an actor i can play any role and with God all things are possible

LOOKING BACKWARDS, IS THEIR A STORY BEHIND THE PHYSICAL STATE?

Yes, I heard in a story by my late mom that a particular nurse “Mama David” gave me an injection on the wrong part and that was how I was crawling for more than 2years, my mom spent almost her last earnings to make me walk better.  So far so good, I am thankful to God He gave me a loving family, I love them and I will continue to make them proud.

IN THE INDUSTRY, WHO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE YOUR WORKING CULTURE?

If the likes of Funsho Adeolu, Kunle Afod, Lala Oladapo did not accept my friendship then, I may not have the opportunity of meeting the Adebayo family who paved way for me in the industry, they all inspire me. I love all my friends and colleagues, they are wonderful.

YOUR WORDS FOR UPCOMING ACTORS SCARED TO STEP OUT OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE?

First thing they need is humility,it is very important and be friendly with everyone in the entertainment world, if you adhere, you are a star.
